Mystery at the Theatre presents “BINGE” at Prairie Center for the Arts

Schaumburg, IL (September 22, 2016) – What was intended as a one-shot event in 1997 has turned into a tradition at the Prairie Center that just won’t — well — die. The foundation’s 10th Mystery at the Theatre once again rounds up the usual suspects as they weave a hilarious whodunnit caper filled with music, mirth, and MURDER. Join us for “BINGE,” Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 at 7:30pm. The event benefits the Prairie Center Arts Foundation.
From pilot to finale, “BINGE” squeezes 10 hours of television into 100 minutes of live theatre, complete with offbeat characters, improbable situations, cliffhanger endings, projected credit sequences, and an eclectic soundtrack sung by the cast. All keeping with Mystery at the Theatre’s tradition of giving audiences a furiously fast and funny murder whodunit.
Enter a raffle to win binge-worthy items, including gift baskets and a flat-screen television! Raffle tickets will be sold before each performance and during intermission. The winning tickets will be drawn live on stage at the end of intermission each night. Winners must be present.
Donations for the Woodfield Area Children’s Organization will be accepted at the event with drop boxes at the theatre entrance for donations of new scarves, mittens, hats, and socks for kids in need.
The Prairie Center Arts Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to the growth and excellence of cultural arts in Schaumburg.
