World’s Largest Gluten Free & Allergy Friendly Expo Returns to Chicagoland

Explore Over 150 Brands, Attend Free Educational Presentations and More

SCHAUMBURG, IL (March 13, 2018) — The Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo is returning to the Schaumburg Convention Center April 7-8. Attendees will have one-on-one moments with over 150 brands exhibiting the best gluten free and allergy friendly products. The expo also provides the opportunity to sample and purchase products, meet founders, receive coupons and attend free educational presentations hosted by industry-respected speakers.

While all products at the GFAF Expo are gluten free, many exhibitors will also showcase products free from the top eight allergens. Presented by Enjoy Life Foods, this event is ideal for the whole family and those following a gluten or allergen-free diet.

“With comfort foods like pizza and baked goods to healthy lifestyle options like protein bars and probiotic drinks, this expo truly offers something for everyone,” said GFAF Expo Founder Jen Cafferty. “An event of this scale being accessible to the general public is a rare and exciting way to explore new products and sample new options before you buy them.”

A sample of this year’s exhibitors includes:

Wheat’s End Artisan Foods (Booth #505) will be sampling their signature gluten-free and vegan English muffins, bagels, and new sourdough bread. Learn about their dedicated gluten-free bakery offerings, chat with the founders, and grab a coupon for their online store and 100% gluten-free Chicago cafe.

Sweet Ali’s Gluten Free Bakery (Booth #605) is an award-winning bakery in Hinsdale & Glenview that will be sampling and selling their famous Tempe snack mix, vegan mixed-berry crumble and cupcakes. In addition, stop by and stock up on cinnamon rolls, pancake mix, flour and sugar cookies.

Flipcrêpes (Booth 108) is a gluten-free specialized quick service restaurant based in Chicago whose mission is to offer healthy food to those with dietary restrictions. Visit to explore their gluten-free crêpe mixes, which are now available to the public.

MyBread (Booth 1103) is a 100% dedicated gluten-free and nut-free wholesale bakery located in Racine, WI, whose goal is to provide the highest quality and best tasting baked goods for the gluten-free lifestyle. MyBread will be sampling and selling their delicious flatbread pita available in Original or Ancient Grain with Chia and Flax.

Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. A one-day ticket is $15 for adults and $5 for children at the door.
